Great to have you on board. As Confucious once said. “every journey begins with a solitary step”. Signing up to the walking challenge may well be one of those steps for you, which of course in this metaphor lead to actual steps along the journey that is the HydraWalk challenge. Its only 6 weeks were asking of you - a commitment to maintaining adequate hydration, and of course... 10,000 steps a day.
WHY? Because we know that if you can commit for even just 30 days - you will feel great, and do your overall health a world of good. Hopefully you may even enjoy it and keep on keeping on well beyond the challenges finish line. Its not about having to run a marathon, or sweat it out at the gym, every little bit counts, and will make a difference to your wellbeing, and of course your teams total.
You can track how your team is progressing both on the leaderboard, and on the progress page - which is where you will see your journey mapped out interactively. On the progress and stats pages you can see how youre travelling compared to your own team, and the rest of the challenge. This is a team challenge, so be sure to keep each other on track - as the saying goes, a champion team will always beat a team of champions.
Remember to keep your fluids up, wear appropriate sun protection when outside - and have fun! Its not about winning - but hey!! It never hurts
"Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life."
